About The Weathered
The Weathered is a Western Folk duo founded by Michelle Loreta and Ryland Glass out of Nanaimo, BC.
With a background in upbeat west coast folk music, Michelle brings confidence and charisma to every room. Her vocals are heartfelt, creative and tailored specifically to the stories she passionately writes, often featuring dynamic tone and presence.
Ryland is a multi-instrumentalist who leans on an upbringing of old country and western music along with his own storytelling to paint stories of love and heartbreak wrapped into western-folk instrumentals and a distinctively emotional voice.
The duo use a mix of their personal experiences and imagination to write stories into song that anyone can relate to.
